 The
2005 Milan Dragway Jr. Dragster
Points Series will consist of
two sessions. Each will have seven
races (14 total). Anyone is eligible
to sign up for points in any of the
three classes; PeeWee 8-9 ,
Intermediate 10-12, and Advanced
13-17. After the first seven races
points return to 0 and we start over
with the next seven races. The two
class winners in Advanced and
Intermediate will
be on TEAM MILAN. They will be
eligible to race in the IHRA Summit
Team Finals at Norwalk Raceway Park
on September 22 - 25 and compete for
over $70,000 in cash and
contingency. This is a huge event
with top racers from all over the
Midwest racing as teams. TEAM MILAN
racers get free entry for the race
and team shirts & hats!
How the Points
Program Works
Points are totaled each week, we
only count your best 5 out of the 7
races, allowing you to throw out two
bad ones! Points are earned in the
following manor:
10 Points for
staging first round
10 Points for each round you win
5 points for running on your dial in
(must win round)
Prizes
$6,000 in savings bonds spread out
to the top 24 racers! The six class
winners will run-off for the class
championship, a 2005 Gold Card and a
Champions Jacket. The three class
champions will then run-off for a
MAC Tools Toolbox!
