RICH CHRISTENSEN AND DENEEN STRIKE A DEAL!!!!

The response to Speed Pink’s: All Out has been overwhelming! The 350 race entries sold out in less than 15 minutes on March 9th.  This is a record in the Speed Pink’s: All Out race series across the country.  Rich Christensen placed a call to Deneen this past Monday.  She expressed to him how many racers still wanted to be a part of the show that weren’t able to get a ticket.  Once he learned just how die hard our racers are we struck a deal.  48 more race entries will be given away to the event on June 29th and 30th.  This is how it’s going to work.  This week on Wednesday (6-20-07), Friday (6-22-07), Saturday (6-23-07) and Sunday (6-24-07) we will pull 12 tech cards a day.  So anyone who comes and participates by purchasing a race entry to any of the listed above dates will have a chance to win one of the 12 race entries being given away. That’s right given at no charge!   See the schedule at milandragway.com to see what each day has to offer (i.e. test and tune, no box, box, top, mod).  This is a chance of a lifetime to still get your hands on a race entry to the Speed Pink’s: All Out event. PINK’S: ALL OUT rules and schedule

 

Below are the approximate times and track spectator policies for the event we all been waiting for!



 

  • Please be prepared to park in designated parking lots.  The parking fee will be $5.
  • No coolers larger than a six pack size.
  • No carry in alcohol.  State of Michigan liquor law only allows alcohol purchased at this location.  This will be strictly enforced.
  • No glass containers.
  • Golf carts, quads, etc. are allowed for tow vehicle use.  Excessive speeds or careless driving will not be allowed.
  • Must be 16 years of age with a valid driver's license to operate a motorized vehicle.
  • Primitive camping spots are available.  Each set up (tent, pop up, trailer, etc.) will require a purchased camping pass ($50) and each occupant is required to have a 2 day pass ($30).  You must be self contained.

  • 11:00 am:  Gates Open to Race Cars Only
  • 1:00 pm – 8:00 pm:  Tech Inspection and Pink’s Registration
  • 2:00 pm – 9:00 pm:  Test & Tune for cars that have passed through Tech & Registration
  • 2:00 pm:  Spectator Gates Open
  • 11:00 pm:  Gates Secured for Evening

Saturday – June 30th

  • 9:00 am:  Gates Open for Racers and Spectators – Registration Begins
  • 10:00 am:  Final Call for Registration
  • 12:00 pm:  Time Trials Begin
  • Between 2nd Time Trial Session and Final 16 - Exhibition Runs including Jet Dragster and others.
  • Dusk:  Final 16 Run Off
  • 1 hour after completion of race:  Gates are Secured

Sunday – July1st

Speed Pink’s: All Out Is Quickly Approaching Get Your Spectator Tickets Soon!!!!

In just a couple short weeks the event will be at Milan Dragway The event will take place on Saturday, June 30th.  Spectator tickets are still available online, by phone or in person at the track.  Rumors are going around that there are no spectator tickets left this is untrue.  THERE ARE SPECTATOR TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE for the event.  We do recommend that you get your tickets in advance because they are selling quickly.

 



 

Following is the event schedule for June 29th and June 30th: (times subject to change)

Thursday June 28:

  • 4:00 –  9:00 p.m. vendor and exhibition set-up (must be registered)
  • No race cars will be admitted

Friday June 29:

  • 8:00 a.m. vendor and exhibition set-up (must be registered)
  • 11:00 a.m. gates open  (race cars)
  • 1 p.m. – 8 p.m. tech inspection and Pink’s registration begins
  • 2:00 – 9:00 p.m. Test & Tune for pre-registered cars that have been teched in and registered
  • 2:00 spectator gates open
  • 11 p.m. gates secured

Saturday June 30:

  • 9:00 a.m. gates open/ registration begins
  • 10:00 a.m. final call for registration
  • 12:00 p.m. time trials begin
  • Between 2nd  time trials session & Final 16, exhibition runs including Jet Dragster, Wheelstander and other exciting cars will occur
  • Final 16 run off begins @ dusk
  • Gates are secured 1 hour after completion of race

Sunday July 1:

  • Gates open at 10:00 a.m.
  • Bracket racing

The Motor City has gone wild for Speed Pink’s: All Out!  The pro shop has also gone wild with Speed apparel.  In preparation for our much anticipated June 30th event we have received our Speed apparel.  The Pro Shop is over flowing with Speed Gear as well as our newly designed 2007 Skinny Kids Race Car Head’s Up  Race Series shirts. Speed Gear is limited in supply right now due to the huge demand that each Speed Pink’s: All Out event has created.  We received what we could from Speed’s remaining stock.  Buy your gear early every Speed Pink’s: All Out show has sold out of their gear before the event day’s end.

Looking for a way to get a race entry to Speed Pink’s: All Out at Milan Dragway? Here’s 24 ways where you can take a shot to win and race on this nationally televised program! Prior to the pre-registration process, 24 official car & driver entries were slated to be used as pre-event promotions closer to the event to build excitement & publicity.

There are two ways we will be giving away race entries.  One will be tech card draws.  Where those dates are noted it means we will put all the tech cards entered that day into a bucket and draw one as a race entry winner.  The other is a spectator draw.  On those specifically marked spectator dates spectators coming into the track will get an entry form that they can fill out and turn in.  There will be a name pulled from those entries on noted dates.  In both cases of race or spectator entries you can give any name you want on the race entry ticket.  So if you are a racer who already has an entry and you win one you can put it in someone else’s name for them to use.  If you are a spectator and you don’t race or already have a race entry you can also put it in someone else’s name.  Have a name ready on these dates because we will be asking you for it as we issue the ticket.  Remember race tickets are NON TRANSFERABLE once a name has been put on it. Additional dates may be added if rain out’s occur.

Camping reservations are now available for June 29 & 30 on the spectator side of the dragway.  All camping spaces are $50 and occupants must each have a 2 day spectator entry ticket.  Campers must be self contained. Spots will be on a first come first serve basis, no assigned spots.  The number of spots available is limited; place your order online at www.milandragway.com or by phone at 734-439-7368.

*Racing participant’s campers will be allowed overnight on the pit side.

RACE ENTRIES SOLD OUT IN LESS THAN 15 MINUTES!

The day is near so be prepared.  Friday, March 9th at 4pm pre-sale tickets will be available.  Only 350 entries will be offered for racing, so pre-register quickly. Friday test and tune with event pre-registration will be available for $20. Pre-registration includes Friday test and tune as well as a no charge Saturday race entry. This competition is open to race cars, street cars, basically any "Door Car" out there. It must have 4 wheels, doors, pass tech inspection and run 12.99 or quicker to compete. Friday spectator/crew tickets will cost $15 and Saturday will cost $20.  A two day pass can be purchased in advance only for $30. Kids ages 2-12 will be $8 per day or $12 for the two days if purchased in advance.  “This show could very well be a spectator sell out!  I strongly suggest buying your spectator and crew tickets in advance.  We are very excited to host the Speed PINKS: All Out event at the track.  This promises to be an exciting event for all drag racers and Motor City racing fans” states Deneen Baxter, Vice President of Milan Dragway. PINKS: ALL OUT Open Competition is coming to Milan Dragway in Milan, Michigan, a Detroit based dragway on June 30, 2007.

Do you know what this means? Someone at Milan Dragway is going to win a crap-load of cash doing what they love to do... Drag racing their car! This event is going to be like a test and tune on steroids. No room for haters... This event is supposed to be fun!



IMPORTANT: This is an OPEN competition. Race cars, street cars, basically any "Door Car" out there, we love them all. Must have 4 wheels, doors and pass tech inspection to compete. You must run in the 12's or faster in this monster tournament. Race participants will be pre-registered only.  Details on the registration process will be posted on the Milan Dragway website as soon as they are determined.

You know the deal... you get two passes, no negotiating, and if you sandbag at all you're going home. Remember, you gotta be running ALL OUT!
