Dear Milan Racers & Fans –
The NEW Milan Dragway Family believes that it is important to be sincere and transparent with our customers. Our goals continue to be, providing a quality track and event experience with a focus on customer service. That being said, we want to provide you with an update regarding the status of the Dragway.
Status of the track: The back portion of the track was repaved. As customary, the track will need some profiling to level any bumps. This process was not unexpected, but it is the timing of the finished product that is the variable.
Schedule Impacts:
- All racing this week/weekend has been canceled.
- June 3rd Heads Up race was canceled on 5/31 and cannot be rescheduled due to lack of availability.
- June 9th Jr Drags $1,000 Shootout will be postponed to a later date.
- Detroit Dragway Reunion is postponed until July 23rd.
- Kickin’ It Old School has been canceled.
- We are expecting the contractor next week.
We understand that all racers have an investment at stake, which is why it is important to ensure that we bring back your “hometown track” properly.
